Prof. Kimani has made significant contributions to education, governance, and ministry through various leadership roles, including:
1. Team Leader: Spearheaded the development of a Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curriculum in Christian Ministry in collaboration with the TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC), Kenya.
2. Chair: Led the Sector Skills Advisory Committee for the Theology Sector, overseeing the development of curriculum frameworks and assessment tools tailored to meet the needs of theological education and training.
3. Team Leader: Directed the development of curriculum and support materials for the Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College (NPBC), ensuring alignment with national and global standards in theological education.
4. Former Chair: Chaired the Taskforce on the First Amendment to the PEFA Constitution (2023), successfully guiding the process to revise and update the organizational constitution for greater effectiveness.
5. Chair: Led the Taskforce on the Development of Curriculum for Training PEFA Evangelists (2024), producing comprehensive training materials to equip evangelists with practical skills and theological knowledge.
